Subject and Scope
These General Terms and Conditions for Online Sales (hereinafter referred to as “General Terms”) apply to all purchase orders placed on the Newlands Sports online store located at www.newlands-sports.store (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) and your subsequent agreement with Newlands Sports.
Order Process and Conclusion of Purchase Agreement
By clicking the “Checkout” button, you send us a binding offer for the conclusion of a purchase agreement with Newlands Sports regarding the items in your shopping cart (hereinafter referred to as the “Order”).
Newlands Sports may, at their discretion, accept or reject the Order. Newlands Sports will accept your order by sending an order confirmation via email.
With our order confirmation, we will send you a copy of the corresponding Order, including corresponding invoice, to your email address.
Prices, Taxes and Duties
All prices quoted on our Website are in GB Pounds, including VAT.
Any additional custom taxes, duties, fees, imposts, tariffs and charges that may be raised by particular countries or authorities related to the conclusion or execution of your Order shall be borne by you.
In the event of obvious errors on the Website or made in connection with your Order, Newlands Sports reserves the right to correct the error and charge the correct price. In such a situation, we will contact you and offer you the option of purchasing the item(s) at the correct price or cancelling your Order.
You can select one of the payment methods described on the Website. Newlands Sports reserves the right to exclude or include particular payment methods at any time.
In case of payment by credit or debit card, your payment will be executed by our payment service provider using their secure infrastructure. They reserve the right to decline the processing of payments in cases of suspected fraud or other irregularity.
If delivery is requested, Newlands Sports will send your Order to the address provided on your Order.
Delivery costs will be paid by the Customer and charged at rates depending upon destination address.
Newlands Sports shall deliver the Order in a timely manner upon confirmation of sucessfull payment of the purchase price.
Delivery times may be prolonged by reasonable periods in case of force majeure or other events for which Newlands Sports is not responsible.
Newlands Sports must be directly advised within 14 days from receipt of the invoice, if the items covered by the invoice have not been delivered, or within 3 days of delivery if damage or shortage is revealed upon receipt of the items. Returns and Refunds
We strive to ensure the very highest standard for the products we sell. Unfortunately, occasions may occur whereby problems with the products can occur. If these issues occur, our aim is to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
Personalised products are non-refundable unless faulty.
If you change your mind for non-personalised products, you may request a return for any unused items for a refund within 30 days of receipt. Please email email@example.com to receive a returns form. In this instance, the customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you believe your item has developed a fault within 6* months of your purchase date, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will guide your through how to send it back to us for inspection. If it is found to be faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or a discount if you would prefer to keep it. If we can’t repair or replace it, you are entitled to a refund. This does not apply to items damaged by wear and tear, an accident or misuse, or if you’ve changed your mind.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Cricket Bat Warranty
The following factors will be taken into consideration:
USAGE – Frequency used, level of competition, player’s ability and technique.
AGE – The time from purchase to date of return (date of breakage).
PRODUCT CARE – How the product has been cared for, stored, cleaned etc.
CUSTOMER HISTORY – Should the customer have repeated issues with similar products this must be taken into account.
Due to the nature of cricket and variation of usage, it is impossible to give a standard time guarantee. Goods that have seen regular use and are older than 12 months are not generally considered to be valid for replacement or refund. This is considered to be “fair wear and tear”.
We can’t assess products until they are physically returned, so if your product requires assessment please contact email@example.com and we’ll guide you through the returns process.
Use of Personal Information
To register on the Website, you need to specify an email address and a password. Newlands Sports needs your contact information for issuing the invoice. You are responsible for keeping this information correct, confidential and up to date.
Newlands Sports is not liable for any consequences that may result from incorrect, incomplete, or false information you have entered or from data you have changed subsequently to your Order.
In case of online payments, you are required to enter your payment details. Online payment information related to your Order is processed by Newlands Sports’ payment service provider. Newlands Sports does not receive detailed information (such as credit card number) from transactions.
By placing your Order, you agree that your contact and payment information may be used to process your payment and to execute your Order.
Newlands Sports shall comply with the provisions of General Data Protection Regulations and takes all reasonable measures t keep your personal information confidential and secure.
Newlands Sports will only disclose your personal information to third parties to the extent necessary to process your payment, to enforce and fulfil the purchase agreement, to comply with legal and administrative obligations, or to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities.
Newlands Sports will never disclose your personal information to any third parties for marketing and advertising purposes.
Unless Newlands Sports is proven to have defaulted intentionally or through gross negligence, claims for damages is excluded. Newlands Sports’ total liability in any matter arising out of or related to these General Terms is limited to the purchase price.
Error and Omissions Excepted
Newlands Sports reserves the right to amend these General Terms after prior written notification. Changes shall apply to your existing purchase agreements only, subject to the conditions that Newlands Sports has informed you about the intended changes in writing and that you did not object to the changes within a period of four weeks.
